Tradtional, pure and hand-made in turkey
Why Turkey ? Turkey has a great bathing heritage. The Turkish Bath (hamman) goes back centuries and over that time we've learned a lot about what products are good to put on our bodies. From classic Aegian lavender to our invigorating Hamman soap, everything is natural, pure and perfect for your skin.
These soaps are all hand-made in small quantities by Turkish artisans who are well paid.
The ottoman Scent co. is totally opposed to animal testing of cosmetic products.
None of the products or ingredients are tested on animals.
The Veg shaped soap starts out as a bar of pure white soap that sees itself transformed in to a work of art.
First it’s shredded and needed to give it just the right consistency to hand-mould into different fruits and vegetables.
It’s then left to dry for two weeks in order to guarantee it maintains its realistic shape.
All the different shaped soaps are then meticulously hand painted and real fruit or vegetable parts such as pips or stalks are added making the soaps indistinguishable from the real thing.
No details are spared.
The soaps are finally left to the dry for a further two weeks in the workshops.
